T he Hawera Star says that Mr Chew Chong has received a notification from the Union S.S. Company to the effect that the company fear they will be unable to guaran-. tee shipment and delivery of goods by their boats for four months to come. Mr Chong has sold butter to Christchurch and to West Coast merchants, and now finds himself unable to deliver the goods, at a very serious loss to himself and, ultimately, to those who are supplying him with milk.
